Other Line-Ups
Kindred Spirit Duo Elaine formed her first Kindred Spirit Duo back in the mid 1990s, with violinist Jane Eldridge, with who she performed at Glastonbury Festival in 1995. Her current duo line-up features violinist (and viola and mandolin player) Martin Ash. With Martin, the duo has supported Gryphon and performed at Royal Borogh of Greenwich’s ‘Tall Ships Festival’ as well as the Surrey Food Festival, to name a few. The duo also specialises in pop, Irish and country covers, providing music entertainment for parties and events as well as pubs and clubs.
Kindred Spirit Band Elaine formed her first Kindred Spirit Band back in the late 1990s. This five-piece band has a completely original take on the Folk Rock / Prog Rock genre, with a Celtic flavoured sound, laced with jigs, reels and duelling improvisations. They weave thrilling electric violin and flute with "haunting and bewitching" female vocals, all underpinned with driving bass and drum rhythms. They enthrall audiences with this unique sound and their compelling and uplifting stories, provided by Elaine’s “perceptive and intriguing” songs.
The Kindred Spirit Duo have teamed up with a professional Barn Dance Caller to give ‘Kindred Spirit Ceilidhs’.
